Frequently asked questions
Kit includes organic ceremonial matcha, a 23-page meditation journal, and an approximately 30-minute guided audio meditation. Audio is led by Anatae founder Camille Becerra and yoga and meditation teacher Laetitia Debeausse.
Matcha comes from Nishio in Aichi, Japan. It is hand-harvested in spring as ichibancha, the first harvest, and uses Yabukita cultivar.
Matcha has sweet, vegetal, and fresh notes without bitterness. It can be prepared traditionally with water, as a latte, or used in no-bake pastry.
Place 1 g of matcha in a bowl, add 70 ml of water at 70–75°C (158–167°F), then whisk for several seconds with a chasen until foam forms on surface. Drink as prepared or add more water to taste.
Scan QR code in journal to access guided audio. Full session lasts about 30 minutes and covers meditation exercises, Japanese principles, and matcha preparation. Start from beginning or use journal contents to choose a section.
Two formats are available: Ritual with 30g ceremonial matcha and Ritual with 80g ceremonial matcha. Using approximately 1 g per serving, 30g makes about 30 bowls and 80g makes about 80 bowls.
