The company’s matcha journey begins in Kagoshima, Japan, a region blessed with rich volcanic soil from Sakurajima, one of Japan’s largest volcanoes. This mineral-dense, extremely fertile earth creates the foundation for super potent tea plants that thrive in the unique climatic conditions of the region.

Organic Burst’s commitment to quality manifests through their meticulous cultivation process. Their tea plants undergo a specialized 21-24 day shading period using patented shading technology, which amplifies chlorophyll and L-theanine production. The company harvests only the first flush – the top four leaves from the very first spring plucking – ensuring the highest concentration of nutrients and the smoothest flavor profile.

The processing methodology sets Organic Burst apart from mass-produced alternatives. Rather than roasting or pan-frying, the leaves are steamed for 30 seconds to halt oxidation and preserve delicate nutrients. Before milling, stems and veins are meticulously removed, resulting in a more concentrated and potent final product. The ultra-fine milling technology creates powder that’s more bioavailable, increasing the health effects.

Quality assurance remains paramount, with regular radiation testing for Cesium-134, Cesium-137, and Iodine-131 ensuring complete safety.
